Chaos vs String Theory

At present, this is my largest painting, and I don't see any reason to make any bigger.
Bigger is not necessarily better, just like in music, louder is not better.
It also is my most "tactile", in that it has a very uneven and rough texture
as a result of the thickness and layering of the paint
Strange things happen when you are creating abstract expressionistic paintings,
it rarely ends up where it started. And quite often, not where you were intending.
Since by very definition, abstract expressionism is non-representative,
and isn't supposed to "look" like anything,
it can very often be hard to judge its quality.
So the best way to determine its value, is to see how it makes you feel.
If it engenders ANY emotion, then it is successful.
If it doesn't make you happy, sad, angry, or remorseful, it has failed.
