Diane, Breman answered up via e-mail and they know Susan who is a probate judge down in Nashville. They're not related.

Diane, from what I have observed, there are probably more Griners in south Georgia that there are Smiths or Johnsons. I'll ask Breman Griner if he's related to a Susan Griner though just for kicks.

Your grandfather had the same name as my grandfather but he immigrated from Scotland around the turn of the century and originally settled in upstate New York before going out to North Dakota, Iowa and then a small town in Illinois so they can't be the same person.

I know Susan Griner from Berrien County. She may be related. My grandfather was
from Nashville in Berrien, John Boyd. My mother is Virginia Boyd Bennett. I visit
Nashville often.

Beautiful place, beautiful photos.... I envy them.
Are you related? My mother was a Griner but I am not sure how they fit in with her family. Would love to talk with them. I live in Ben Hill Co. Would it be possible to get directions to their place? You can have them contact me if interested.
