Steve Dolnick and I were in the same Coast Guard Reserve unit at Miami Beach from 1972 to 1978 when I was transferred out to the air station for the next sixteen years. Steve had a good head on his shoulders and was liked by many people. He had a catering business on the side in addition to his full-time city job and we hired him in 1976 to cater a party at our home. As expected he did a superb job and everyone had a great time.
