In Memoriam - Irwin Goishen

I knew Irwin when he worked as a construction manager for the Facilities Division of the Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. I attended numerous construction meetings with him over time and he was always a gentleman and could usually find solutions to problems that we had with various construction projects affecting airside operations. I appreciate people with a sense of humor and Irwin definitely had a dry sense of humor.

Irwin passed away on October 19, 2000 at the age of 73. RIP Irwin!

My name is Erica Moss Zigelman, Laurie Fried's sister; Bernice Strauss niece. My sincerest condolences to the family. As young children, my sister and I would hear many stories from Grandpa, Saul Goishen about family members. With the passing of the older generation, we have lost touch with many family members and stories.

First my condolences to the family. I am the granddaughter of Saul Goishen (who is the brother of Eli Goishen, Irwin's father). While trying to locate members of the family to help fill in my family tree I came across your heartfelt In Memoriam. I would love to touch base with members of the family. Photos of Irwin, Joyce, Hershey, Eli & Dora are there too.
