1970's - ex USN Lockheed XR6O-1 (R6V-1) Constitution N7673C on NW 135th Street, Opa-locka
North side of NW 135th Street, Opa-locka, Florida
Thank you to Mark Fidler for contributing this image of the Constitution after it was relocated from Opa-locka Airport down NW 135th Street to a vacant lot on the north side of the street, east of the railroad tracks. Thank you to Mark Lincoln for correcting the aircraft type.
Thank you Mark. I forgot to change everything on this site from your corrections on my aviation stock photos site.

Don the airplanes designation was XR6O-1. No hyphen and with a capital O not a zero. The designation reads as R (Transport) 6 O (Lockheed) meaning the sixth transport type the Navy bought from Lockheed. After the letter designation for Lockheed was changed it became the R6V-1.
