Early 1990s - Miami International Airport

Miami International Airport, Florida

The westside cargo area is still comprised of World War II-era warehouses. This area was totally rebuilt in the 90's with modern new buildings, including the "Eastern U" and "Western U" cargo buildings with cargo ramps large enough to park 10 or 12 large cargo aircraft each. Since this photo the entire north side (north of 9L-27R) has changed due to the addition of runway 8-26 (now 8L-26R) which is MIA's 4th runway.
