A view looking north of a 36th Street Terminal at Pan American Field serving Pan American World Airways and Eastern Air Lines. This terminal had wings added on to each side to handle the increasing passenger loads when compared to the 1929 terminal dedication photos.
Pan American Field was sold to the Dade County Port Authority later in the 40's and it evolved into Miami International Airport when combined with the two U. S. Army Air Corps airfields to the south and the Seaboard Coast Line railroad tracks were relocated to where they are now.
