My dad was a mgr of a kayo service station in 1963 in morganton n.c. I can rermember the gas wars and all of the products they had .They also gave out stamps . If anyone has any old kayo signs or speedy signs they want to sell please call me at 828-433-6760 thanks Steve.

I was wondering if anyone had an additional info about Kayo. I recently acquired a Kayo Lighter, yet I havent been able to locate much information about the company.

Kayo used to sell bulk oil in glass jars with a spout for ten cents a quart

Remember the oil containers made of cardboard with tin on the top & bottom?
Having to use the spout to open and pour the oil?

I remember this station well. Cheap gas, and a regular stop on Friday or Saturday night after a dropping off a date.
