1956 or 1957 - The western portion of Miami International Airport, Dressel's Dairy Farm and undeveloped land
West of Miami Airport, Dade County, Florida
The image was taken while over Miami International Airport and is looking west. The Palmetto Expressway has not been built yet and NW 36 Street did not cross or cross over the railroad tracks west of Ludlam and east of Milam Dairy Road. See the next image for text on the photo.
Yep, now that you mention it I remember the screen door banging behind us as we left. That was the same screen door that let in the flies too but not too many people cared back then.

I remember that there was a train for kids, I had my birthday party there in the 60's. We got ice cream, I can hear the screen door bang behind us!

Don,
The lower left is part of the old MIAD - PanAm Engine Shop and the Eastern Airlines
Engine Testing Shop. I learned to drive in the parking lot on Sunday's. We used to take Perimeter Road to 25th St to get to Dressel's Dairy from the Miami Springs Area.
