From the state archives description: "The outbreak of World War II found Pan American World Airways playing an important role not only in the aerial transportation of much needed supplies but also through its knowledge of aerial navigation. PAA veteran navigators served as instructors in the navigation school operated by PAA at Miami, Fla., giving the fledgling navigators of the U. S. Army, U. S. Navy, British and Canadian air forces the benefit of their aerial navigation experience. This picture shows a group of students marching to class at PAA's Dinner Key Base at Miami, Fla."
