When I lived in an apt. in West Miami (after I moved from the house a couple blocks from Douglas E. Barnes park, where I grew up), the train tracks would be less than 50 yards from my apartment, and the train would come by all the time. It took time to get used to hearing that whistle late at night when I was trying to sleep.
