Ronnie was secretary to Bruce Drum, Chief of Airside Operations at MIA, from 1989 to 1998. Originally from New York. She passed away from lung cancer in 1998 even though she had quit smoking decades earlier. The maintenance division's air-conditioning shop had to lay off three workers because she was no longer calling them several times a day to warm up our air-conditioning to make it hot for the rest of us.
