Late 1950's - Arthur Wilde's Seafood Harbor Restaurant in Sunny Isles

Thank you to Dave D. Simko for providing the location and that the restaurant was torn down in 1966 and replaced by the Marco Polo in Sunny Isles.

This was owned by my Uncle Arthur. He married my Aunt Ethel and went on to work at The Carillon, Deauville and the Diplomat. Ate here as a little girl and my sister and I had many a Shirley Temple cocktail in the lounge.

In the 50's my family would spend weekends at small motels up on "Motel Row", generally the Caribe or the Carousel. We would walk one block to Arthur Maisel's where we would eat almost every Saturday night. I remember the elegance of the restaurant along with its' wonderful food. Great memories.

Raul, it could be but I don't have any way to find out more about him.

Dan:
I went to school with an Arthur Wilde in NYC. It was Shimer Junior High School. Any chance this was the same person?
