You are correct John Smith Texaco in West Miami, Fl . I worked for him at this station in high school. John had a 1964 turquoise Ford Falcon that was the fastest in area.

I believe this is the Texaco that was on SW 8th Street In West Miami. The Station is facing South and the street to the west runs at an angle South where it runs into SW 57th Avenue. There was a Cafeteria on the right and out of view of this photograph. The buildings at middle left is DANKERS MOTEL. The single story units were demolished and a two or three story additon was put there. The gas station reamained in business. The Station was run by the Son of FRED SMITh who ran Smith and Son Texaco on the corner of Flagler and 67Th Avneue. He had two sones. Fred and John. The eldest ran or owned this station. I worked at the Dad's texaco for about 2 or three years.

Galloway Texaco SW 87th Ave and one block south of Coral Way.This gas station looks just like the station that my older brother worked at when he was 15 years old. I worked there later in 1980, but it was no longer selling gas anymore, it was just an independent repair center. The car thats in the picture is facing south on 87th ave. If you keep traveling south on 87th you'll see St Brendan's and Columbus High School's on you right hand side. The front of this gas station is facing what use to be a huge huge parking lot with a Kmart and a small strip mall connected to it (Lila's Restaurant was there in that mall).
