The "Celebration of the Sixties" and 40-year reunion for the classes of 1965 and 1966 was held on Friday and Saturday, June 24th and 25th, 2005 at the Wyndham Hotel (formerly the Doral) on Miami Beach. Many thanks to the Reunion Committee for their hard work and efforts to make it an enjoyable and memorable occasion.

1. 60th Anniversary of Hialeah High School was held June 20-22, 2014

Hialeah High's 60th Anniversary - ALL CLASS YEARS:

Mark Coulter, HHS Class of 1974, organized this historic reunion celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Hialeah High and it was held June 20-22, 2014 at the Don Shula Hotel in Miami Lakes. ALL Hialeah High grads, teachers and friends were welcome to attend. The Saturday night dinner dance was held at the brand new Milander Center for Arts and Entertainment on the site of the former Municipal Auditorium, later Milander Auditorium, on Saturday evening. Photos of the new center can be viewed at http://hialeahreunion.com/milander-pictures.html . Mark even booked The Warlocks, a popular band from way back when, to perform on Saturday evening. Luxury bus transportation will be provided from and to the Don Shula Hotel on Main Street in Miami Lakes to eliminate the possibility of DUI's. Mark seems to have planned this reunion perfectly and perhaps other Hialeah High reunions should consider his model of success and his ability to keep costs under control for those attending. 2. MAY 1-3, 2015 - HHS Class of 1965 50th Reunion

The Hialeah High Class of 1965 50th Anniversary Reunion, my own class and the greatest HHS class ever with 1189 graduates, will hold their 50th Reunion on May 1st thru 3rd, 2015. John Lund, recently retired attorney in Tampa, formed the reunion committee. In my opinion the reunion committee made a smart decision to have the reunion in Hialeah instead of some far off city not in South Florida.
