That is an ugly old sink. The door in the picture opens to the area that will become the new sink area. I'll remove the door and the whole wall as pictured, and then create a sink area using really nice surfaces. You get a lot of punch out of your bucks if you use high quality materials in small quantities in areas like this. The money is well spent, creating an effect of luxury with minimal cost, as you don't have to use a lot of the material chosen.
