Ruidosa Texas

This now ghost town was once an army fort town that served as a main
staging area for the defense of this area from Mexican bandits.
The road that runs from here through Pinto Canyon to Marfia is 57 miles
of some of the most rugged terrain in Texas. From 1890s to 1920s, mule trains
and pack mules delivered supplied to the army several times a week.
