The decal on the back window asks "Where have all the hippies gone?"

Actually there is still a small tribe of original vintage hippies on Quadra Island.
They arrived about 50 years ago and became part of the Island's culture.

Quadra also attracts twenty-something "neo-hippies" every summer.
