Relics in the Wild is the seventh book in the Car Art series and the second featuring images of rusted old cars, trucks and even tractors found in salvage yards and other locals where they have been left to decay or where they are awaiting restoration. Some of them were found at swap meets and car shows, others along Route 66 where they now serve as decorations and memorabilia. This book is for everyone who loves seeing cars in all their beautiful states of decay, who loves seeing the wide variety of rust and colorful peeling paint.
I have included a wide variety of different vehicles from a bunch of different places I have had the good fortune to visit during my photographic adventures. As in all my car art books, I have attempted to show these remnants of days gone by artistically and as the works of art I see them as. Many of the images have been modified during post processing and were not as they looked right out of the camera. This book contains over 150 color and monochrome images that were taken between 2007 and 2016, the majority of them in the southwestern United States. I have included images of complete cars as well as abstracts and detail shots.
Only available as a large size Collector's Edition so far. To see the images included, please preview it at www.blurb.com/b/7643862-car-art-relics-in-the-wild
