Challenge: Into the Light

Home, Hobby Room

At 3:45 am, after being knocked in the head by my husband as we struggled to find robes in the dark, I was running naked through our shaking house by our hobby room door to the whistling wind and chug chug of a train when I heard a crash of glass and the the hobby room door slammed shut. The door shutting was probably a good thing as when we finally were able to see the damage, it was great. There was not a surface in the room that was not covered in glass.

It may be stretching it for "Into the Light", but it seems apropos for the day especially since we didn't have any power at the time. Please note that I am processing these pictures on a badly scratched monitor which is behind where I am standing in the room while taking this picture. So, I hope that the picture turned out all right.

It must've been scary to feel the storm in the middle of the night.

Hope things are returning to normal (or relief is in sight). Our house nearly burnt down from a kitchen fire 3 years ago and it was a mess for four weeks.

Very happy that you two are alright. Wow...anything we can do to help?

Glad you're all OK and hopefully not too much damage.
You did well to get a shot in considering, and it's a good one at that!

You have nothing to worry about with the challenge. Now, on the other side- anything I can help with for the damage?
