Infrared Images (Canon 300D Unmodified)

This gallery is devoted to Infrared Images. Some are False Color and some are (will be) B&W. Since there has been some interest, I have posted my general work flow (first sub-gallery) for post-processing in Photoshop. Unprocessed images appear to be just Red – there is a great deal of tweaking to get things to work out. can you send me an ir picture of a person's face?do you have to make any special adaptation to the camera or just simply use the ir filter

You have a very nice IR gallery here. I respect your work because I use the same setup as you, except a Sigma 50mm f/2.8 lens. Takes a lot of patience and time and especially a day with very light winds!

This really is terrific! I have now set up an action which follows your procedure step by step and it has resulted in some magnificent results. The only remaining issue is that you need to have a great shot to start off with. That is where great image editing becomes a benefit. Thank you very much for sharing these steps. It has been of great help to me.... and probably thousands of others.
