Friday night!

After a long week it was finally Friday. We went to the pub after work with a bunch of the people
in the office, before taking a walk from our hotel down to the merlion. It's a half lion, half
fish statue.

Singapore in Sanskrit is called "Singapura", it's to do with a translated story where upon coming
onto the island a Sumatran prince saw a lion. The fusion of the Merlion is to celebrate the
city's links with the sea.
