It was meant to be a nice day.
I was in early to check to see our Edinburgh office made it through the night, given the number
of revellers passing the office to make it to the Live 8 concert. By 10am the focus of the day
had completely changed. The rest of it was spent monitoring the situation, and ensuring we could
get staff home safely.
I'm not going to try to write about how disgusting the attack is. Stu's done that, and he writes
100 times better than I ever will. Suffice to say not only was I outraged, but scared. Scared
more for the people I know in London. I have a lot of good friends, all of whom thankfully made
it home safely.
My thoughts are with the families of the people who didn't.
