It's my brothers birthday today, so we had the usual day of family-centric events. It started
early with yet another trip to look at carpet and floor coverings. Its now getting to the stage
where we're going to get the house measured as soon as we can, and from there just choose the
carpet we feel best suits the budget. There's far too much choice!

When we finally got home it was still a glorious day, so we were straight out into the garden for
what started as a glass of wine. It soon became a full on barbeque, complete with the required
level of outside drinking. This basically continued until the sun set (and this far north in
Scotland, it doesn't set until after 10pm). Before we went in to finish the day with a film. And
another glass of wine.
