13-06-05 the bell jar

Two months today, and my PAD year will be complete!

At the moment though I'm finding it tough going. I can pretty much put this down to a lack of time
which in turn takes it's toll on my motivation. Especially when you add in the pressure of trying
to find a new angle on shooting a fairly mundane scene. Hopefully though I'll have some pretty
interesting trips with work in the next couple of months, which should help me get out of the rut.

So back to the present, I was trying to catch the shadows made by the paper fibres, as they fell
across the surface of the page.

If you haven't read the book though, I'd recommend it. For years I had avoided reading it, under
the mistaken notion that this was a book aimed more at girls. Its not the case at all. Its a
fairly harrowing read though, it ain't Bridget Jones!

One of my favorite books.. I have to say I've felt a lot of what she did feel.. I agree with Chris.. it's like a bit of rippled water with floating words.. or onion skin paper so thing it ripples from the moisture in the air.. well done

You've got me staring at a piece of paper, you crazy Scot :) Without the printed word there, I would wonder if it wasn't rippled water.

Love the photo. I keep looking at this book but somehow always turn to something more cheerful. I'll have another go!
