Thankfully this evening, the trams were once again running, albeit intermittently, so I tried
again. This time after waiting for almost 45 minutes, success. And I was on my way out to Salford Quays.

The building you see here is the imperial war museum, designed Daniel Libeskind. The whole area
has recently undergone a lot of development, and there are several landmark buildings in the area,
not to mention Old Trafford, which is just 10 minutes away.

I pretty much spent the evening wandering around in the sun!
