02-04-05 parafoil

This wasn't the shot I had intended for the day, I was going to post a photo of a really nice viewpoint
over the back road to the airport. But when I saw how well this one had came out, there
really wasn't much of a contest.

My brother and his girlfriend bought me this parafoil kite for my birthday this year. What you
don't get here is a sense of scale, as it's roughly 5 feet wide. Which doesn't mean my head is
roughly the size of a lorry, it's just perspective.

That could be fun...the last one I flew was made of brown paper & glue. My old aunt & grandmother made it for me...all part of the fun it was :>)
