I walked out of the front door of work this evening to find a really crisp, clear evening. Plugged in
the MP3 player my folks gave me for Christmas. Pulled my jacket close to my neck, stuck my hands
deep into my pockets, and walked home. It struck me on the way, that this week marks a few things.
1 month to go until we move out of our flat.
There isn't going to be many more evenings I can finish work, and actually enjoy walking home. My
parents live a good 6 or 7 miles out of town, so a walk homes out of the question. This shot, of
course, was taken in the little park I get to walk through every morning, and every evening on my
way to the office. OK I've got lunchtimes, but the best time of day to be there is before and after
work. No-one else is around, and you have the place to yourself. Perfect peace.
But I suppose this coming week is not all going to be bad. The 14th will mark the half-way point
in my PAD. Time's really flown by.
