07-02-05 northern lights

Going to have to be a quick one today. Work's overwhelming, and so's life at home. We're getting
the packing started for the move in a few weeks time.

Spent all day today locked in a meeting room, and the rest of the week doesn't get much better. i
tried to schedule a meeting with my boss, who gets back from his holidays tomorrow morning. The
first half hour I had available was Friday afternoon.

Today was a pretty awful day too. I was late getting in, thanks mainly to my bed, and then the
erratic public transport system. My day didn't get any better when I remembered the camera was
left on the computer table. True to form the sun broke through the mist later on giving me a
beautiful light. First time in weeks I'd left it at home too.

Anyway I wanted to do something a bit different today. A bit more minimalist. This is a pendant
light fitting in our living room. I turned the spot meter on, and metered off of the light bulbs.
Quite like the way it's worked out.

Nice image. It looks like an Apollo moon launch as seen from the launch pad. Good luck on your imminent move.

So! The deal went through on the new house? Congrats!!!! Gotta stop leaving the camera at home, my friend. But this one is very nice.
