Took this photo of some discarded chains lying around at the harbour earlier on today. I had been
dispatched to go out and buy some hoover bags (really need to get round to buying a dyson, but I
object to spending that much on a hoover, when I could spend it on more important things, like
starting a revolution, or a new CD). We had someone coming round to view the flat, and we needed
to give the place a once over with the hoover. True to form the minute I started I noticed that it
was clogged, hence the desperate dash.
Tried to go for a similar grimy look as I did on the 11th, to reflect the chains, the area, and their use.
Then we headed out to see my folks who have just got back from a holiday to the US, it was great to
see them, but it just served to remind me that my poor old dog isn’t in the best of health. The
cold weather is really causing her hind quarters some difficulty due to her arthritis, and she’s
lost a fair bit of weight. She’s into her 16th year now, so I know she’s done well, but its still
very saddening to see a dog I think of as a puppy as slow as she is now. Even the sharks tooth
necklace they brought me back from the Mandalay Bay couldn’t cheer me up, and usually you’d have
had to peel me off the ceiling having been given that.
I’ll just have to make the best of the time we’ve left with her!
