The first storm, as you can see had settled right over me this afternoon as I came home from work.
I know it's a view you've seen before, but I thought the clouds were pretty impressive. And the
bridge certainly makes a nice subject.
The second storm of course settled over Parkhead this evening. Aberdeen were playing Celtic, the
best team in the league currently. We got off to a dream start when within 4 minutes we found
ourselves two goals up. What followed was 85 minutes of pounding. We got a hell of a beating, and
Celtic drew us back to 2-2. I was sat waiting for the killer blow. But that of course still left
a final minute, in which a nineteen year old striker rounded the last defender to score, put us 3-2
up, and put me straight down to the pub with my brother.
Now I don't want to dwell on this too long, as we're far from the finished article. And no doubt
we're going to be on the receiving end of a couple of real drubbings in future. But most
importantly, I think the revival is gathering pace.
What made my night though, wasn't the football, but a call from one of my oldest friends. His team
also won, sticking 4 past Bolton. So we visited old memories, talked each other up, and generally
had a good time.
What a great night!
