25-09-04 morocco

Fell asleep last night before I could upload my PAD. I was a bit
wary this morning, as I wasn't sure about either of the two images
from yesterday. But looking at the photo this morning, I'm a bit
more comfortable. Just as well!

This is a lamp we were given by Catherine's cousin, as a wedding
gift. He lives in Plymouth, and imports these from Morocco. Kind of an
interesting guy, as he's also a fire eater in his spare time!
Anyway I wasn't too sure about it at the time, but as time has gone
on I like it more and more. Plus when it sits in the corner of our
bedroom it makes it look very exotic!

Nice spot of light and good shadows to increase the mysterious feeling to the lampshade. Fireeater, heh?

Like this one, Dominic. Shells are nice, but this is nicer.

I thought the same thing as Jude did.. a tattoo.. The reason for that is because I"m drawn to tribal-type tattoos. This is a great design.. nice lighting

Dominic, I have to tell you - when I first saw the thumb I thought I was looking at someones tattoo! (Ok - so that tells you where MY head is at! LOL) Beautiful pattern ... could make a WONDERFUL back tatt ... hmmm ... in fact, I bet it would look especially good on a fire eater!

I like both shots, but this is my favourite - love the pattern and the glow.

A fire eater! I always wanted to visit Morrocco.
