23-09-04 mexico

Had a good day today!
Got a lot of work finished, and as I have a flexi day tomorrow,
for me, it's the weekend! God bless the man who invented
flexi time. One of man's greatest inventions.

Despite having such a good day I had to use one of the photo's
on my reserve list, which is only to be used in emergencies.
Everything I had in mind for today either wouldn't come out,
or wasn't suitable, for either light or timing.

Anyway about today's PAD.
I bought this for my wife from a shop in Aberdeen, called adobe.
So it should be no shock that it sold mexican goods.
It's a friendship ring.

Mexico will always make me a bit nostalgic.
It's where we went on our honeymoon.

Can't wait to go back!

What a great pic you have here Dominic! I enjoy flexi time too, because I'm a freelancer :-). I really like the shadow, the ring itself, the tones, the colour. Really great shot!

Really cool shot! You can't tell what it's size is, and the expanded shadows give it an eerie, cult-like look to it. Great idea for a composition.

Lovely tones. I'd like to go to Mexico (amongst other places), but unfortunately, I seem to spend all my money to-ing and fro-ing between Dundee and Lisbon. Oh well...

depends on what you mean by flexi time Dom, we get "flexi" too, but it's not exactly "grown up" flexi... anyhows.. nice pic. great study that.
