This PAD was a real labour of love.
The bridge was known (in our house anyway), as the Shakin' Briggy.
Got home fairly early from work, ate something quickly,
and then shot out along the River Dee, to Cults in the suburbs,
to get to the bridge in time for the last hour of sunlight.
The Dee runs through the south side of the city,
and is one of Scotland’s Salmon rivers.
You can often go down to the riverside at night,
and find people in their waders in the middle of the river.
Although I’m from Aberdeen, we left when I was small, only for me to
return to go to University, and eventually settled there again.
Basically this means that things which are mundane and normal for my wife,
(who has lived here all her life)are new to me,
and it’s a lot of fun discovering them with my camera too.
