This wasn't going to be the picture of the day. Picture of the day was going to be from the Dido
concert, I had spent a fortune on tickets for.
But going into the arena the facists at Rock Steady searched Catherine's bag. They wouldn't allow
us to come in with a digital camera (I pointed out that I'd manage about 30 seconds of film - no
audio - with the memory card in the camera, but this was met with what can only be described as a
grunt) I would give you a brief rundown of my conversation with the security, but to be honest he
was about as bright as a toothpick, and I don't have the words to express the level of stupidity he
achieved, especially when we got inside to find countless digital cameras. The complaint's pending!
Instead here's a photo of us walking from the west end of Glasgow into the city centre. As you can
see we made it to Glasgow University, only to find the gate locked which would let us into
Kelvingrove park. Here you can see how we (and yours truely on top of the fence) managed to
negotiate this minor setback.
Amended the spelling on the title - I have dyslexia - you'll have to bear with me!
