plug and play my arse...

Trying to get the PC to recognise the camera all to no avail. So try the built in memory card
slots on your PC I thought. But no, we're not recognising the new 8gb high speed SD card I bought
either. However, plug in a little 32meg card (the one that came free with the camera), and lo and
behold, we have pictures.

This is a new compact I bought, we've a few breaks coming up for hen nights and stag nights and I
didn't want to have to cart the DSLR out to Krakow with me, so I bought a titchy little canon
ixus. Now if I can only get the info off the cards....

Impressed so far, this is a fossilised sharks tooth, the camera looks like it will focus down to
around 3 cm if you leave the zoom out wide. Tweaks to the individual channels in levels, to balance
the colours, but that was it. No sharpening at all.
