The Uncommon Herd

Some pictures of Rare Breed sheep, and no, I'm sorry, I don't yet know which breed they are. One thing, though, they do give some insight into why, long ago, there might have been a problem in "sorting the sheep from the goats".

So, where were these pictures taken? Somewhere in the Middle East? Greece?

No. These sheep graze on an area of land just to the north of the English seaside town of Southwold. It can take as little as ten minutes to walk from where I photographed the sheep to the location of the last picture in this set.

Although, if you look at the exif you'll see that it actually took me two and a half hours. I took the long way round.
