The Royal International Air Tattoo was held at RAF Fairford on 15/16 July 2006. These pictures are from Saturday 15 July. The weather started off overcast and almost cold - but the skies cleared and temperatures climbed for the flying display, which started at 10am and continued for about eight and a half hours. Most of the time there wasn't a cloud in the sky - which was a shame in some ways, because some fluffy white clouds that show up behind the planes, but don't get in their way, add something to aviation pictures.
