Why a picture of a nondescript sandstone building? This is the Hotel Talleyrand, where the Marshall Plan was signed, was the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Paris for many years. It was the starting point for thousands of French visitors and immigrants to the United States over the decades. Sadly, it was given up for security.
