Central African Republic

We arrived in the CAR in August of 2007. I served as the United States ambassador until 2010.

Note from 2013 - All of us who love the Central African Republic lament the current wave of violence gripping the country. Peace will only come when all Central Africans realize that they have much more to gain by working together than by fighting each other.

Very interesting gallery. I hope that you were able to make some difference while
you were there. They certainly need a lot of help from those nations who, by comparison, have everything.
