K. noticed that we were seeing a lot of cars stopped by the side of the interstate, and that it seemed to be a phenomenon in the south. So I decided to see how many pics I could take. It musn't have been much sport, because I dozed off and it was dark when I woke up, so I didn't get many - but I will say you can't go far (more than a few minutes) without spotting a vehicle pulled over - often if not usually abandoned - and that you don't see this in California. Maybe because everyone's too afraid to break down on a California freeway.
