Excellent work. Artistically done. Not your 'average' straight-shot of food. Very well planned and excuted. Great use of natural light.

Nice shots but....
1) Most food shots reveal all details of the meal. A viewer's eyes
look ( examine ) every inch of the food on the plate. Your
shallow depth of field limits your communication of your subject to your viewers.

2) Your lighting is the same in each image. The mood of the lighting of the entire group
almost overpowers the food itself. Available light has its limitations.

3) I like your compositions and they will fit nicely on a menu once
you communicate your subjects more completely.

Outstanding work. I would disagree, as a matter of personal preference, with those who have said your DOF is too shallow. The limited focus is well controlled and provides each shot with its own subject within the composition, making them much more pleasing, not to mention more interesting, to look at.

Great color, composure and layout. The only thing I'd change is depth of field...a shade to shallow. Good luck.

Lovely gallery, Cynthia. You were in viting critiques so I'll offer a couple of comments : I love the colour saturation. I think the DOF is too shallow in some shots. Would be interested to see the same shots at f8. Nice work, thanks for sharing.
