I saw your post at dpreview where you asked for comments. Regarding this photo; the front is disturbed by the out of focus face, the background people as in focus. What I would have done is focusing on the hands, as that is the place of action, emotion and attention. Also, I would have framed horizontally.
This is just a personal opinion :)
