Today, I honor and appreciate my good friend, whom many of you know, Robin Reid.
He's been a friend, colleague, mentor, and pain the a$$ for too many years to count.
In many ways, Robin and I are very similar, which can mean that people run for the
hills when they find themselves in a room with both of us. We are both witty,
enjoy a love of words, and can - and will - trade barbs so quickly and so sharply that
others are soon exhausted.

Of course, it's been clearly established by now that of the two of us, I'm the much better
looking and more humble of the pair. Probably almost goes without saying. :-)

So let me present my Good Friend, a gentle, warm, compassionate, caring
human being who's been there for me time after time, even when I carry on with a
senseless rant or two. Thanks for being in my life, good sir.
