Today, my "attitude of gratitude" is about having three good ideas
I intend to put into action.

I was fortunate today to attend a gathering of people to hear former
San Diegan John Izzo talk about his new book, "The Five Secrets You
Must Discover Before You Die." He's an amazing speaker and he's written
a wonderful book. I heartily encourage everyone to get a copy.

The book comes from interviews he did with nearly 250 people, ages
60-108, who were "nominated" for interviews by other people, who
believed these people "got it." They were from all walks of life and
many, many cultures. They might form what some cultures call a
"Council of Elders." Unfortunately, our culture generally doesn't recognize
the wisdom, contribution, and talents of our elders. Perhaps this book
will help change that.

Wow. Sorry I missed John. Sounds like a great book. You said 3 things... what are the others?

Beautiful light and shadows. And yes, we can learn much from our elders.

Eggs....very cool and love the treatment and will have to look into that book! Yes, our elders are very wise and I get tired of people not being patient with them. I, for one, have the deepest respect and learn so much from them. After all, we will all be there one day!!!
