The Tourons

I learned this term "tourons" over the weekend. It's a word made
by combining "tourists" and "morons" and it cracks me up.

(Disclaimer: I do not know these fine folks and have no idea if they are actual tourons.)

Well, it looks at least they're inside the ropes. I believe Tourons are those that go beyond the rope to get that killer shot...

As a person who worked in the tourist industry for many, many years as a youth (yes I was once a youth) I can tell you that (generally speaking) that folks oten leave their good sense and brains behind when they tour. So IMHNO tourist=touron. They mean the same thing generally. All that said, good to see you up on Cabrillo Pt.

Has the U. S. S. New Orleans made it to San Diego yet? It is a Navy ship and was built here about 10 miles from my house. It left for San Diego a few days ago.
