I was about to board a Southwest flight to Oakland, when I spotted this
gull on top of the plane. I reached for my little A70, and a flight
attendant kindly offered to hold my carryon while I snapped this picture,
much to the impatient dismay of the people behind me in line.

I was stunned to discover, upon leaving the plane at my destination,
that it was no longer on top. Apparently it had other travel plans that day.
