The Outcome

Wish you could smell this! It turns out the squash pictured here:
http://www.pbase.com/digitalgee/image/50472219 IS a butternut squash
as several people pointed out. I fixed it by baking it with apples,
cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, butter and a little flour.

The taste is extraordinary! Perfect for fall weather.
