Cowles Mountain

At 1,591 feet, this is the highest point within the City of San Diego.
This view is from across Lake Murray, one of a number of
reservoirs serving the local population.

Picnics in the summer sort of haunt I imagine...I'm behind & have just caught a glimpse of the snake in the next shot...if it's all the same to you Gary, gotta pass, cause if I open it I very likely will :>)

I imagine it's a little cooler up there. We plan to visit San Diego one day - and won't miss this!

Wow, that's high. You must get a lot of snow up there in the winter.
Good vantage point and foreground framing for the photo.

My cows would love this mountain :)
And I would love to go for a dip right now.
Great vista, Thanks.
