Happy Landings

No self portrait today, my eye is throbbing and my head wants to
explode. I'm off to the optomotrist again to see if what I have
is a false alarm or bad contact lens (the best possibility), a
bacterial infection (second best), or a fungus (worst case scenario).
If it's a fungus, it means six weeks with no contacts and glasses
just don't work well for me.

Right now, my eye hurts the same way it does when you leave a dark
theatre and step into the bright light outdoors -- except mine feels
that way pretty much all the time.

I forced myself into the bright outdoors to take this shot, wearing
glasses and fumbling about with lousy peripheral vision. I'm already
trying to practice not letting this get me down!

Okay, rant over. To be honest -- I'm more than a bit scared. I truly
don't want to lose the sight in my eye -- especially my GOOD eye.

Gary, that sounds a big worry for you, but hopefully the cure will be available without too much effort on yours or the medico's behalf. Constant pain is terrible so my congrats on making this huge pbase effort..it's brilliant.
